After ten years of singing live and on stage, Tere’sa has returned to the studio to create and release her second album, Glory & Honor, in the Spring of 2010 on Atlanta based LIFE Records. 

An ordained minister, singer/songwriter Tere’sa has used her impressive repertoire of music to bring her message to audiences in a variety of venues. 

Tere’sa gained experience early in her career as a background vocalist and a supporting vocalist with the Higher Living Christian Church (formerly New Birth South Metropolitan Church) women’s choir. Later on, she shared the stage with the likes of Beverly Crawford, Bishop Virgil Patterson, The Canton Spirituals, and Richard Smallwood. 

After the release of her first album, Sanctuary, she toured extensively on local and regional circuits throughout North America and has successfully garnered a loyal fan base. Her music ministry garnered several awards. She has won numerous vocal competitions, participated in various choirs and ensembles throughout the United States. She has performed at political venues, charity fundraisers, community events, national conferences, youth empowerment workshops, street outreach.  

With the release of her long-awaited follow-up album, ‘Glory & Honor’ Tere’sa continues to carry her musical message to new audiences. From the album’s title track, “Just Believe” to the end song, “Warriors,” Tere’sa hits the figurative bulls-eye for inspiration. “Glory & Honor” offers a feel-good vibe that ministers to both the spirit and soul with head nodding grooves that fans of R&B will appreciate and maintains a traditional Gospel tone that Gospel lovers will enjoy.  

When she released her 1999 debut album, ‘Sanctuary,’ Teresa explained the inspiration behind her music. “My music incorporates elements of praise and worship, and it is the culmination of many years of experiencing the goodness of the Lord. I’ve had to personally trust Him to overcome the various obstacles that I’ve faced.”
